Product Engineering

End-to-end SaaS development — architecture to production.

I build complete SaaS products: the data model, authentication and permissions, subscription billing, and the admin and customer-facing dashboards on top of it — designed as one coherent system instead of a pile of integrated services.

What I build

  • Multi-tenant data architecture and permissions
  • Authentication, roles and access control
  • Subscription billing and invoicing (Stripe)
  • Admin dashboards and customer-facing account areas
  • Onboarding flows and the first-run experience new users see

Who it's for

  • Founders building a SaaS MVP or first production version
  • Existing SaaS products that need a rebuild or architecture rework as they scale
  • Teams that want one engineer who can own the full stack rather than coordinating several specialists

How I approach it

Data model first

The schema and tenancy model get designed before any UI, since retrofitting multi-tenancy later is expensive.

Billing done properly

Subscription state, webhooks and edge cases (failed payments, upgrades, cancellations) are handled explicitly, not assumed to just work.

Built to scale with the business

Architecture decisions account for where the product is headed, not just what's needed for launch.

One engineer, full ownership

The same person who designs the architecture writes the backend, builds the frontend and ships it — fewer handoffs, fewer gaps.

Frequently asked

Do you build the billing/subscription system too, or just the app?
Billing is part of the SaaS engagement by default — subscription plans, Stripe integration and the account states that come with them.
What database do you use?
PostgreSQL by default, usually via Supabase for the combination of a managed Postgres instance, auth and storage in one place.
Can you take over an existing SaaS codebase?
Yes — this usually starts with a short architecture review before scoping the actual work.
